Funky Fresh: NS Boulevard’s “Boy You Gotta” Brings the Heat

NS Boulevard has burst onto the scene with their second release, “Boy You Gotta.” Released on March 1st, 2024, this track is already making waves across the globe, and it’s not hard to see why.

With its funky undertones and feel-good melodies, “Boy You Gotta” is a mood booster that seems to go down a treat on every dance floor that hears it.

The catchy tune got its start when NS Boulevard stumbled upon an incredible vocal from an R&B track by Tanika Charles. While the sample was originally 85 BPM, the duo decided to take a risk by experimenting with the tempo, speeding it up to 130 BPM. This move, coupled with the re-pitched vocal, gives the song its distinctive early sampled house feel.

Releasing “Boy You Gotta” with Universal Music Group (UMG) has been a dream for NS Boulevard. “Boy You Gotta is a reflection of our musical roots, it’s got vibrant vocals and funky rhythms that keep you coming back for more.”

The track has already caught the attention of some of the industry’s biggest names. From Radio 1 to Kiss FM and beyond, this track has been featured on numerous editorial playlists and received support from renowned DJs such as Danny Howard, Clara Amfo, and Don Diablo.
