The Las Vegas Sphere is Coming to Abu Dhabi

Heads up, UAE – the iconic Sphere from Las Vegas is making its way to Abu Dhabi, and trust us, this is one venue you’re not going to want to miss. If you’ve seen any footage of it in Vegas, you know exactly why it’s a game-changer… a giant, LED covered ball in the middle of the city, that displays graphics and visuals beyond your imagination.

The Las Vegas Sphere is 20,000-seat venue has a 16K wraparound screen inside, surrounding patrons in a fully immersive space. Whether it’s live concerts, immersive art, or cutting-edge performances, every event inside this venue is a whole new level of entertainment. The Sphere has already hosted Dance Music’s most trending artist, Fred Again, and is set to host Anyma of Tale of Us in December. If that’s a hint of what’s to come, Abu Dhabi’s nightlife is about to level up in a big way.

Part of Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Strategy 2030, this venue will elevate the city’s status as a cultural hotspot where attendees can dance and celebrate at this world-class venue which is sure to make Abu Dhabi a leading destination on the global nightlife map. “By embracing cutting-edge entertainment like Sphere, we’re not only elevating our global profile but also setting new standards in immersive experiences and cultural offerings” explained DCT Abu Dhabi chairman Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak.

At present no exact location or timeline for construction has been revealed for the project, but the buzz is real. Sphere Entertainment’s CEO, James L. Dolan, is calling this project a “milestone,” so we already know it’s going to be next level.
